Hi Susan i come to think and accept that one paints the way one paints. There is no easy way around that and trying to paint a particular way is usually unsatisfying ultimately. I find that my best paintings happen as a result of not trying to hard and not thinking to much. Which sort of creates a mystery out of "how on earth did i manage to paint that".
